I'm an operator by background and a researcher by discipline.

My career has centred on leading multi-site and industrial businesses through growth, transition, and integration — the environments where operating rhythm, capability-building, and organizational alignment decide outcomes more than strategy alone. I've led companies through ownership transitions, integration programs, and operating-model redesigns, including a public-to-private transition and a later sale to a strategic buyer.

That on-the-ground work shaped my research. I'm completing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Calgary, studying buy-and-build strategy — how acquirers select and sequence targets, and how integration creates, or destroys, value. I write The Industrialist, translating that research into practical terms for operators and investors.

I hold private real-estate interests through Green Shoot Investments. My focus now is putting twenty-five years of operating experience to work in businesses where disciplined integration and system design can build lasting value.
